Business Development Representative
Blanton’s Air, Plumbing & Electric is one of North Carolinas fastest growing HVAC/Plumbing/Electric companies offering products, services, and solutions to customers. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to service our customers in the Fayetteville & Raleigh metro areas. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who have at least 1 year of previous sales experience. Knowledge of HVAC is not mandatory- we will train you, but prior In-Home Sales experience is preferred!
We are seeking a well-organized self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills. A keen attention to detail and computer literacy is a must. We will augment your knowledge with sales and product related training, giving you all the tools necessary to assist clients with coaching them to make informed buying decisions. BDR Sales Duties and Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the Customer Experience Center where customer satisfaction is our primary goal, you will:
- Build rapport with customers and assist through personality and relationship selling
- Exercise the intuitive ability to understand customers needs and match those needs with the services offered.
- Sell existing proposals to customers
- Set appointments for customers based on their time, location preference and home services needs
- Continually improve and be receptive to coaching
- Practice efficiency, handle call volumes knowledgeably while still providing excellent service
- Answer customers questions accurately, openly and honestly
BDR Sales Agent Qualifications:
- 1-year of customer inside sales experience, telephone-based preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- PC experience required, with good keyboarding skills
- A clean motor vehicle record and clean criminal background record
- A history of succeeding in a sales environment
- Terrific verbal and written communication skills, with excellent active listening skills and a talent for probing
- A desire to learn, practice and deliver a remarkable guest experience
- Ability to learn, deploy and enjoy our technology!
- Ability to take ownership of the details – large and small
- Decision making that demonstrates good judgment
- Respect for your teammates
- Confidence and a positive attitude
- Experience using good problem-solving skills, and taking the initiative to think critically to identify improvement opportunities
