Quality Inspectors needed for an expanding Ashtabula facility. Pay is based upon experience starting at $17.00 an hour

Hiring for 1st shift paying 6:45am-3pm Monday-Friday.

Job description
The Quality inspector position conducts inspection of customer parts during the manufacturing process and before the part are shipped to our customers.

Essential Functions
Ensure that plated (or other processed) parts meet established quality standards.

• inspect finished parts to ensure they…
• Match process, chromate, topcoat/dye, wax and other finishing on FWO
• Assure that plating thicknesses are within tolerances specified on FWO; when necessary, produce thickness reports
• Pass go/no-go gauges, when applicable
• Match quantities, weights and number of containers on FWO
• signoff FWO for acceptable parts and when appropriate, affix acceptance sticker in containers
• When rejecting parts, indicate rejection on FWO, put reject stick on container, and return parts of production lone

Final packaging

• Shrink wrap containers and finalize any required packaging/palletizing
• Bring completed FWO to office and scan as processed.

Miscellaneous

• Maintain stock of testing tape, rejection sticks, acceptance stickers, etc.

Prove a safe, clean and organized workplace.

• Ensure all safety policies are being following, including proper usage of PPE
• Ensure that “to Be Inspection: area remain clean and organized
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
