Overview:
Jefferson Wells is seeking an Interim Controller to work with client of ours in the Health & Wellness Industry remotely and 2-3 days per week on-site ( hybrid schedule) at their offices in the Tremont area of Cleveland, OH. This will be a 1-2-month contract project, filling in for their current Controller (who is departing) while they search for a permanent replacement. The Controller at this company oversees all accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
Local NE Ohio candidates only will be considered. Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of Accounting Experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP.)
- Must be proficient in Excel. (QuickBooks experience is desirable.)
- Prior cost accounting experience with exposure to inventory valuation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger.
