Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architect Senior in Jacksonville, FL to contribute to the data platform architecture across the technology stack and data lifecycle from data pipelines, databases, analytics, visualization tools to customer facing apps and products. Conceive, design, and establish a sound Data Platform Architecture, strategy, and execution plan towards building a scalable data platform that improves efficiency and automation of data, applications, policy migration initiatives. Design systems and APIs to perform ETL, batch and real-time streaming integrations on datasets in a distributed and scalable manner. Capture future state technology vision in actionable, context-specific roadmaps that drives innovation and increases developer productivity. Serve as a key member of data platform team to ensure customer success in building and migrating data, applications, and services on the data platform. Broad technology and hands on experience with programming languages, application development, data pipelines, Snowflake, Bigdata (Hadoop & Spark), DevOps, data infrastructure management, migration of legacy data workflows to cloud. Define data management standards, policies and processes enhancing the quality and completeness of the data.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: building data pipelines and applications to stream and process large datasets at low latencies on big data platforms including Hadoop, Snowflake, and postgres; handling data including tracking data lineage, ensuring data quality, and improving discoverability of data using DBT tools; migrating and operating very large data warehouses and data lakes on AWS S3, Snowflake, and Hadoop; working with modern cloud data platform technologies including AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, Docker, and CI/CD; and utilizing ML/AI tools and technologies including H20.ai, scikit-learn, and MATLAB. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
