Job description
Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, Incumbent will provide front-line end user support by responding to users via zoom, phone or emails, resolving issues and providing customer service to the department administrative team and department units. Incumbent will assist with technical support requests related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, in a customer service focused environment, dealing with those that can be handled immediately, and routing those that require more technical expertise to the appropriate technical staff.The IT Coordinator will work to update inventory information regarding hardware and software. In addition, this position requires that the IT Coordinator provide training (on-line and in-person) and to support webinars, virtual classes and virtual events. This position may require working some holidays and weekends. IT Coordinator will be on a hybrid schedule.

Required/Preferred
Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Mac OS X, Office 365, 2019 and beyond.
Required
Knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication and Duo Mobile App.
Required
Knowledge of Remote Desktop Assistance tools such as Teamviewer, GoToAssist, and/or AeroAdmin.
Required
Ability to troubleshoot and support Tablets, Smartphones, PCs and Macs and contact the Vendors' Technical Assistance.
Required
Familiarity with support of networked mail. Knowledge of mail address in, file transfer and remote logon.

Ability to troubleshoot Conference Room Technology such as Owls, Projectors, Smart TVS.

Familiarity with UCLA cloud service storage such as Google Drive and Box.Net

Detailed knowledge in connecting to centralized services such as mainframes via terminal-emulation software (e.g. ITS, OASIS via Hummingbird).

Knowledge of Malwarebytes Console Administration and FireEye.
