IT Manager – Data Center Operations

HYBRID WORK- REQUIRES SOME ONSITE - NOT REMOTE
This IT Manager role will oversee the Cloud and Data Center operations and provide leadership to the organization and Vendor teams. Strong experience in managing Data Center operations required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of complex, enterprise-wide IT management experience with at least 5-7 years of leadership experience across IT and business functions.
- Experience managing IT Infrastructure initiatives that span multiple years and consist of a combination of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components
- Must have excellent leadership skills (proven ability to coach, develop and lead a team) and must be able to work with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization (both IT & Business)
- Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders with clarity and precision
- Ability to interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt/modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
- Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Solid working experience with Vendor / Contract Management
- Experience with cost management and resource capacity planning
- Strong Business Process Analysis skills and Business Process Mapping
- Experience implementing change management approaches to support programs
- Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work to other members of a team.
DESIRED SKILLS
- 3+ years’ experience as an IT Manager overseeing large Data Center Operations
- PMP Certification and ITIL experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Energy Industry is a preferred
