TITLE:
IT Software Engineers (Level I)
DUTIES:
Under close supervision of the Department Manager and Director of IT, perform the following job duties: Develop software from documented requirements and specifications; Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback based on own analysis; Assist in gathering requirements; Verify that code changes conform to standards, are thoroughly tested, and will not break automated builds or deployed environments; Participate in peer testing; Assist in developing test plans as needed; Find and repair software defects found in unit testing or acceptance testing; Perform assigned tasks using established procedures and best practices; Improve working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, methods, conventions, and standards by performing tasks throughout each stage of the SDLC; May perform some or all of above tasks depending on scope of each project assignment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equiv.) in Computer Science or any IT related field.
