Overview
The IT Support Technician performs analytical, technical, and administrative tasks for stakeholders seeking technical assistance within our company.
This person is responsible for providing day-to-day remote or on-site problem-resolution support for IT hardware, software, business systems, networking products, access for internal and external partners. This person will also own other services such as diagnosing and resolving tech problems and providing in-person and remote support to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair services.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve computing hardware, software, connectivity, networking and account management inquiries
- Perform remote installation, maintenance, and repair services
- Provide day-to-day remote or on-site problem-resolution support for IT hardware, software, business systems, networking products, access for internal and external partners, and other services.
- Manage hardware requests from the business including the fulfillment and delivery of iDevices, iPads, PCs, and peripherals, & the maintaining of asset inventory.
- Responsible for managing and keeping our MDM software up to date with company inventory
- Responsible for creating and maintaining company accounts, internal communications, managing distribution lists, compliance training, installation and maintenance of security systems such as JumpCloud, SecureFrame, OnePassword
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IT support in a corporate IT support environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups.
- Strong knowledge of MS Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, MS Office O365, Zoom, and MDM for mobile devices
