Job description
We are looking for an entry level IT Support Technician to join our team! Our IT Support Technican provides critical support to the company by:
- Assisting with hardware inventory tracking
- Working with third-party vendor service departments for maintenance and supply needs
- Supporting networked printers and wireless networking technologies
- Fielding support calls/submitted IT tickets and identify, investigate, and resolve end-user problems with computer software and hardware in both remote office and home locations
- Assisting in managing and maintaining VoIP telephone system and related equipment
- Supporting other company managed systems as needed
- Collaborating with vendors to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in systems and programs.
- Traveling to other office locations (Southport, Wrightsville Beach, Oleander Drive) as needed

- CompTIA A+ or higher certification(s)
- Minimum of two years of general IT experience with hardware installation, support, updating, decommissioning, and proper disposal of data/equipment. Certifications and other education such as college courses may be substituted for work experience.
- Proficiency with Windows/Apple operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office desktop applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc)
- Professional communication skills
- Positive and dynamic team player

- Inquisitive and excited to learn
- Acceptable results of pre-employment background screening
Preferred (but not required):
- A college degree with a major or minor in Information Technology
- Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty/Health & Life insurance license
