General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking a full time IT Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The company is an industrial manufacturer with facilities in two locations; Sedro-Woolley and Bothell WA. A successful candidate will be experienced in serving the technology needs of a business and be ready to provide IT support and leadership as the company grows.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Procure, install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users
- Maintain inventory of computer hardware and software
- Management of cell phones and VoIP phone system
- Develop and implement IT and system security policies and procedures
- Manage connectivity and security of networked industrial equipment
- Completing large IT projects
- Occasionally Interface with MSP
- Travel to Bothell office for services as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associates degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and writing skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Networking, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Technical Certifications are a plus: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Knowledge of NIST 800-171 requirements
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or VBA
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
This position is hands on (physically present) and requires moderate physical activity in an office environment in Sedro-Woolley, WA. Travel to Bothell office for service as needed. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee will be walking to and from buildings in an industrial setting, climbing stairs (and ladders if necessary) and regularly sitting at a desk for computer work, utilizing the telephone frequently and participating in meetings with colleagues. Position requires lifting up to 40 lbs. The employee will occasionally be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
Salary Range
$80,000 to $85,000 annually, Depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is located at the Dogwood Factory at 500 Metcalf, Sedro Wooley, WA 98284. Remote/hybrid options are not available, at this time.
