About this Position:
This role works independently and with a diverse team of staff and management to coordinate / perform a variety of Japan staff expatriate program as well as departmental and organizational HR related needs. Acts as general operational support and require knowledge of overall Japan staff policy and HR. Work assignments are performed within defined latitude for problem solving and defined parameters for accuracy, quality, efficiency and compliance with time schedules and applicable policies, procedures and regulations. This position requires bilingual capability in both English and Japanese.
Responsibilities include:
- Support overall Japanese associates coming form Japan to the US and from US to Japan, mainly at onsite NC and remotely for OH
- Support HR and admin activities for Japanese assigned staff, may include immigration, onboarding, offboarding, etc.
- Responsible for processing payment to outside vendors (ie hotel, transportation, moving expense, tax return service fees)
- Responsible for Japanese visitors from HM, orientation and support as needed
- Responsible for updating Japan Operations Web site and MyHR and creating materials as needed
- Act as back up to other team members (medical benefits, onboarding, offboarding, Visa, tax support and lease car program) when necessary
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
- 4 years working in a professional office setting
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
- KNOWLEDGE OF MS OFFICE SOFTWARE (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK)
- EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT AND ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PRIORITIES
- EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS WITH STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL REQUIRED
