Due to high praise and demand from friends, he made the bold leap of leaving his industrial electric career to form Deane Electric and AC. It was humble beginnings as one employee (John Deane) and one truck to a fleet of 10 very dedicated team members.
Deane Electric & Air Conditioning, LLC serves four counties in central Texas (Bell, Coryell, Williamson, and Travis). Our desire is to provide the best service repair and replacement for anything related to AC, heating, and electrical repair. We like what we do and love to educate our customers.
We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team working in Residential and light construction settings!
Pay
- $25 - $30/hr base pay
- + Overtime/Double Time!

Responsibilities
- Bend pipe
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems
- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
- Oversee proper vehicle maintenance
- Read Blueprints
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job requirements
- Be able to interpret and locate code requirements within the NEC
- 2-3+ Years of Journeyman Electrician Experience preferred
- Able to perform the duties of a Service Electrician
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- Active Journeyman's License Required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding required
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 50-75 pounds at a time
- Must be authorized to work in the US
