THE JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are a high-end design firm specialized in residential design. We are selecting a full-time Junior Interior Designer with 2 to 3 years experience who is highly organized and self-motivated.

Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for developing, documenting and managing high-end residential projects, including:

• Conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.
• Draft and coordinate CAD drawings and ID sets of plans.
• Create and maintain the client's file updated with all project related information.
• Managing vendors communications.
• Develop FF&E packages
• Architectural lighting design and lighting specifications
• Collaborating with outside architects, contractors, sub-contractors & vendors
• Preparing client presentations & proposals.
• Creating floor plans & elevations
• Researching, sourcing and pricing
• Material selections
• Preparing budgets
• Ensuring accuracy on all purchase orders
• Coordinate and mange deliveries, storage, installations & set-up.
• Quality assurance and Customer service
• Job site visits

Requirements

• Strong detail orientation

• Knowledge of quality high-end and custom furniture
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Enthusiastic and Positive approach
• Team player
• Auto-Cad expertise
• SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign
• MS office, Power point and Excel
• Degree in Interior Design/Architecture
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Legal Status to work in the U.S required
• Full time position, Monday thru Friday
• Flexibility to work after hours when a deadline requires it
• Proficiency in English and Spanish a must.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
