WHO WE ARE:

Teachers On Demand, INC is an educational staffing and recruiting firm that partners with K-12 schools around the United States. We are committed to assisting schools in the recruitment of high-quality educators and tutors. We have partnered with MNPS for SY 2022-2023.

We are seeking qualified Instructional Support Professionals or Tutors to support our partner schools in the following subjects:

• Elementary, Middle, and High School Math
• Elementary, Middle, and High School English and Language Arts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Differentiate instruction and supplement content to meet the needs of all students.
• Create and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment for all students.
• Develop and implement the components of an effective lesson for instruction.
• Assess students' areas of improvement and progress, maintain grading and lesson planning, and provide students with timely feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of experience in academic problem-solving techniques.
• -or- at least 3 years of experience in Mathematic problem solving effectively.
• -or- at least 3 years of experience in English and Language Arts skills.
• 4-year degree in education, English, Mathematics, or other related degrees.
• Must be available to tutor at the school location in-person during ONE of the following time frames: before school, during school, or after school
• Must be available to commit to a 9-12 week tutoring program

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

• Elementary and Middle School Sessions: 30 minutes (3 days per week)
• High School Sessions: 45 to 60 minutes ( 2 to 3 days per week)
• Face-to-Face Instruction.
• 2 to 4 students in group sessions.

COMPENSATION

Pay Rate: $40 per session
