Position Description:
- Responsible for providing high quality and engaging instruction for students aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study during the afterschool and/or summer program.
- Delivery of academic and enrichment lessons in a manner that facilitates a challenging and interactive learning environment.
- Participate in any professional development sessions offered by Koinonia Community Solutions.
- Maintain, complete and submit timely lesson plans, attendance and activity records, timesheets and any requested paperwork or data by the Education Director.
- Effectively interacts with staff, parents and students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience: At least 2 or more years of teaching experience a must and experience working with at risk student populations. NC Teaching License preferred. Ability to pass a background check.
Work hours will be on Monday-Friday between 1:30pm-6:30pm.
Afterschool Operating Hours: 2:30pm-6:30pm tentatively starting October 2022
