Our Dining Team is looking for some outstanding indviduals to work with us!

Job Summary This position is responsible for the performance of general cleaning duties, inclusive of daily floor cleaning and buffing in the Kitchen.

Duties and
Responsibilities Dining Services:

1. Performance of general cleaning duties, including daily floor cleaning and buffing in the kitchen and related areas.

2. Performance of dishwashing procedures.
3. Performance of "3 sink" pot & dish washing procedures.
4. Working with cleaning chemicals.
5. Assisting in food preparation as directed.
6. Processing and storing incoming orders of food and supplies according to departmental policies and procedures.
7. Adherence to all sanitation and food handling protocols.
8. Adherence to all safety policies & procedures of community and regulatory authorities.

Miscellaneous

1. Offers support and assistance to other departments as directed and needed.
2. Maintains organization and cleanliness of work areas.
3. Reports defective equipment to the Facilities Manager.
4. Reports any safety hazards immediately.
5. Participates in required staff training.
6. Maintains professional confidentiality regarding residents and community.
7. Maintains a consistent level of professionalism with residents, family members and staff.
8. Other duties as assigned by Dining Services Director, or their designee.

Knowledge, Previous experience working within the senior living community.
Skills and Alzheimer’s disease/dementia care experience preferred.
Abilities Is resourceful and willing to satisfy both ordinary and extraordinary needs of prospective residents/families.

• Must be able to interact with other department personnel.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications It is expected that every employee will seek out educational opportunities and take any necessary steps to stay current in their professional field of expertise.
The minimum requirements of the position are:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Physical Must possess fully functioning sense of sight/hearing or use prosthetics that
Requirements will enable these senses to function adequately to allow that job position requirements are fully met.

• Must be able to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, kneel, push, pull, and twist using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.
• Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Exposure to detergents & chemicals used in cleaning.
• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the physical and emotional stress of the position.

Pay: $13.21 - $14.06 per hour
