Our restaurant seeks a Kitchen Manager who is organized, punctual and can multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for great food and a desire to help the team succeed. The successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of flexible hours, paid time off and a bi-weekly salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen staff and lead the kitchen staff to their greatest possible performance levels.
  • Develop and maintain cost control measures and profit plans for the business.
  • Interview, select, and train new employees for positions in the kitchen.
  • Ensure that safe food handling practices are implemented and followed by staff.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared according to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Supervise food preparation and ensure that all products meet high standards of quality.
  • Oversee inventory control procedures in the kitchen to ensure that adequate supplies are available to prepare food on time.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Provide leadership in case of an emergency situation during which the restaurant must be evacuated or closed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
