Job Highlights
The Management Analyst 4 (MA4) is a part of the Fraud Prevention and Labor Standards (FPLS) Process Improvement and Performance Measurement team. In this role, you’ll lead division and cross-divisional projects, develop and maintain the performance management system, and lead implementation of legislative directives. Your scope of projects will range from leading teams to supplying general support to a team.
Some of what you’ll do:
- Plans, organizes, and leads process improvement events, project teams, and other divisional and cross-divisional continuous improvement efforts.
- Conducts research, analysis, and evaluation pertaining to the FPLS governance system or divisional projects and prepares projects, reports, and summaries, including narrative, statistics, tables, and graphs.
- Employs project management skills to strategically evaluate proposed actions and timelines against organizational mission, goals, objectives and policies.
- Develops and delivers verbal and written presentations about projects and status updates to FPLS leadership and other key internal/external stakeholders, as required.
- Performs high-level research and analysis on multidimensional issues that impact organizations and multiple divisions.
- Organizes, coordinates and tracks project implementation efforts of strategic and long-range planning activities for FPLS.
- Uses analysis to make recommendations, to ensure projects and action plans are executed within scope, timely and within expectations of customer(s) needs; is the gatekeeper of FPLS assignments and status.
- Independently writes, develops and completes multiple agency legislative reports.
DESIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration, law, or other related field
- Three or more years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules or regulations or comparable combination of education and experience.

For this position, telework is dependent on business needs and supervisor approval. The assigned duty station for this position is Tumwater, Washington.
