Description:

• Escort vendors (Movers, Equipment vendors, other BMS employees with no ID access to CAM sites (ie. LVL, NBR person visiting their group that is moving etc).
• Establish rapport with BMS Security at origination and destination sites.
• Provide day to day support and assistance to research community
• Has access and can deliver move materials (move tags, boxes, bubble wrap etc)
• Has responsibility to solve problems within their scope and escalate any others as required.
• POC for questions
• Has access to and can communicate key dates, needs, duties to scientists and report back to Project team as necessary for escalations. Attends all required meetings.
• Liaison between researchers and Move Team
• Establish rapport with scientists and knows the physical layout of origination and destination labs
• Keeps accountability for scientist decommissioning and recommissioning, day-to-day relocation lab activity oversight
• Keep scientists on schedule (decon, decon tags, trigger excess trash removal, can communicate with movers for more move materials-boxes, wrap, labels etc)
• Decommissioning tasks
• Participate in pre-move lab/office clean outs. Support Facilities and scientists during clean outs.
• Assist in organizing boxes and move materials so that safety is maintained throughout move process.
• Helps to label/placard the origination and destination sites.
• Ensures that all equipment and boxes are shipped and received (nothing left behind, nothing missing at destination).
• Keeps written/electronic account of items being shipped and delivered.
• Recommissioning tasks
• Assist movers with locating lab destination locations (Lab, Room, Bench).
• Alert Facilities for excess trash removal
• Work with scientists/ vendors to ensure any materials for recommissioning of equipment is ordered and delivered and is available for service visits

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in a lab
