Job description

Seeking a Manager dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the residents of a large‐scale lake community in close proximity to the Hattiesburg, MS metro area. This full‐time position requires a split of time between handling the management of the homeowner’s association and also management of the further development of the subdivision for the developer. The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Ensure that the Covenants and Rules are followed in the community and the lake.
• Ensure that the community and the lake are maintained in good repair at all times.
• Monitor vehicle/watercraft activity to ensure that rules are obeyed and only authorized persons have access to the community and to the lake.
• Plan HOA events, such as July 4th, Memorial Day, and informative community meetings.
• Work with HOA Board and community members as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of all new residential construction for compliance with the approved construction plans.
• Assist the developer as needed with management of seawall construction, development of new subdivision areas, and development of amenity features.
• Effectively and professionally maintain communications between the Homeowners, HOA Board, Developer, and other staff members.
• Manage security systems and personnel for the safety of the community.

Qualifications:

• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be a problem‐solver, resourceful, self‐motivated and forward thinking.
• Prefer a college graduate with a degree in construction engineering or similar.
• Prefer construction related experience.
• Knowledge of fisheries and lake management is a plus.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
