Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper

Laundry Attendants are responsible for processing sorted linen, distributing clean linen and keeping a clean and organized work area. Additionally, Laundry Attendants contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.

Primary Responsibilities

Laundry:

• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
• Strip soiled linens and trash from vacant rooms for processing.
• Process sorted linen utilizing the washers and dryers, and fold to deliver a finished product that is inspected and meets quality standards.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Stock housekeeping closets with completed linens.
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.

Housekeeping:

• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
