Summary: We currently have a full time position available for a Lawncare Service Technician/ Manager who will be providing service to residential or commercial customers. Making timely lawn/landscape applications, diagnosing and correcting lawn/landscaping problems through service calls and other customer communications, and selling/upselling services to new and/or existing customers, resulting in growth of the customer base.

· GENERAL:

• The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned.
• Applies fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Drives company vehicle to commercial customer location.
• Manages inventory of required products to manage each application
• Ability to diagnose & treat various weeds, disease, & fungus with minimal direction.
• Responds on a timely basis to customer requests for telephone and in-person service calls.
• Completes required production forms and customer instructions.
• Measures the lawn of potential customers to provide them with an accurate cost of New Castle's lawncare service.
• Performs a daily three-minute, 360 degree inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return.
• Completes production reports, new sales forms, customer invoice forms, daily vehicle inspection report, and cancel/skip notices as required daily.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance.
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied completely through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits
• Strong work ethic, experience with customer service and Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Must have a valid Driver’s License

This ad will remain open until mid February / early March or until we make a hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Fertilizer Application: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
