We are looking for a full-time experienced Lead Dental Assistant (EFDA a plus!) who is an energetic team player!

Who we are:

We are an established private family practice located in beautiful Port Saint Lucie. We have an excellent team environment led by a great Doctor and our focus is our patients and our team!

What you will do:

· Supports patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.

· Supports patient care by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.

· Adept at pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts and fabricating aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.

· Provides information to and educates patients by answering questions and requests.

· Cleaning and polishing removable appliances. (Coronal Polishing Certification a plus!)

· Anticipates doctor’s needs in set-ups, suction, and the passing of instruments and materials.

· Documents dental care services by thorough charting in patient records.

· Ensures OSHA compliance with the sterilization of instruments, dental equipment and treatment rooms

· Contributes to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition

Who you are:

You are an experienced Dental Assistant looking to be part of a great team environment with the following qualifications:

· Active CPR Certification; X-Ray Certification, EFDA

Available to work practice hours.

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
• FL EFDA Certification (Preferred)
