TITLE: Lead Systems Developer
LOCATION:Philadelphia, PA


DUTIES:
Design, code, test, debug, and document Nonstop Guardian software development. Design, implement, and maintain AMTEC track model databases and associated software. Design, develop, and implement Nonstop server application software for AMTEC train movement personnel. Provide technical subject matter expertise (SME), while managing across diverse teams, own deliverables, manage to deadlines, communicate across teams to achieve harmony with existing technology architectural direction and company strategies. Owns the software development approach as an engineering exercise; confirms requirements are clear, follows a documented development methodology, and makes sure a unit testing regimen is followed to deliver code per designs. To do design and development of solutions for complex application problems, API design, data services, platform services, cloud services and infrastructure services to meet user requirements and align to strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture. Create and update documentation as necessary to ensure architectures, designs, and other descriptions are up to date and describes the as-deployed system. Lead the development planning process with customers, IT business analysts, architects, and team members. Work with architecture and technology to codify development tools, code reusability standards, improve design documents. Develop design specifications and sizing estimates for technical requirements. Adhere to quality standards and procedures. Review modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application architecture standards and SLAs. Assist in defining development guidelines and standards to be utilized in software development/integration.


REQUIREMENTS:
Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field followed by eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or any job title related to Software Developer occupation. Experience must include: 1) C++, 2) Java, 3) HP Nonstop Tandem, 4) Python, 5) Design Patterns, 6) UNIX, 7) Linux, 8) Maven, 9) Visual Inspect, 10) TACL, 11) ORACLE, 12) Jenkins, 13) FUP, Enform, 14) EMS, NCPCOM, and 15) GDB Debugger. 10% travel is required. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. All positions require pre-employment background check verification, a pre-employment drug screen, and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.


SALARY:
$132,330 to $138,375 per year
