Job description
The Learning Director responsible for identifying and addressing the rapidly evolving learning needs of the Payments business unit along with designing, planning, and building learning programs that support and fulfill those learning needs. This role will collaborate closely with the Product, Legal, Operations and other internal teams to ensure a robust and fun learning experience for all of our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses current learning practices, approaches and systems for immediate gaps using both internal input and external perspective, may include vendor selection and management if appropriate
- Provides a modern and timely learning program for the Payments team including new hire learning on organizational history, products, industry, financials, system learning and other topics as appropriate
- Partners with the Payments leadership team to identify current and future technical learning needs and subsequently designs and facilitates delivery of programs addressing those needs
- Creates the learning roadmap and corresponding annual learning calendar for the business unit in cooperation with the enterprise learning function and payments-specific events
- Ensures a flexible learning approach including options for in-office, remote, real-time and self-paced learning suited to diverse adult learning styles
- Supports culture roadmap and business objectives in all aspects of learning for the organization
- Shares relevant metrics related to time-to-proficiency, productivity, employee satisfaction and other measures demonstrating program success over time
- Maintains a robust process for keeping all learning materials and approaches up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and practices including privacy and HIPAA

- Familiarity with instructional design and virtual learning tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation with large audiences
Experiences/Background:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of related experience, healthcare or technology background preferred
- Experience working with diverse and geographically dispersed teams in a hybrid and/or fully remote work environment
