Based in Missoula, Montana, with a satellite office in Butte, Montana, we represent clients throughout Idaho, Montana and Washington. Clients will find a comprehensive legal team with more than 80 years of combined experience in the areas of business law, tax law, real estate law, corporate, partnership and limited liability company law, probate and trust administration and estate planning. Our legal team is skilled at solving complex, multi-faceted problems, as well as helping the clients achieve their goals in creative and innovative ways. About the role
The role of Legal Receptionist at Bjornson Jones Mungas is a vital position to our firm’s success. This is a full time position that requires a positive personality and general knowledge of reception duties, as well as a chance to learn legal skills and industry.
Responsibilities
- Answer and screen telephone calls
- Communicate with potential new clients about their needs and forwarding them to the correct resource
- Collect, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Send and manage conflict checks
- Draft new client Engagement Letters
- Manage the reception email
- Take client payments
- Scan and file documents as needed
- Assist Paralegals and Attorneys in completing various other special projects or assignments as requested
Knowledge, SKills, and abilities required
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work in an independent setting
- Ability to organize and prioritize many ongoing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in using various programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work with a group of people that is as diverse as the services we provide
- Pay Range $18-20 an hour
- Professional phone demeanor when dealing with variety of dispositions and needs
