Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Associate Manager to be part of our Home Equity Referrals and SCRA review Team in Foreclosure Operations within Consumer Lending

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and ensure all eligible Home Equity loans are referred to foreclosure
  • Manage/ ensure all eligible MSP loans have been through the Interested Party Search and all SCRA checks have been performed
  • Supervise the daily activities of a Loan Production or Loan Servicing team to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance in Lending Operations functional area
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in loan production or loan servicing activities
  • Make day to day supervisory or tactical decisions related to Lending Operations functional area
  • Resolve issues related to loan processing, documentation, pre-closing tasks, loan servicing activities, or underwriting under the direction of management
  • Ensure compliance with Wells Fargo investor, legal, regulatory, or business policies
  • Collaborate and consult with bank departments, vendors, merchants, clients, or investors
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Develops and implements operational, servicing, or documentation procedures, methods and work systems.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • 2+ years' experience in Foreclosure and/or Bankruptcy
  • General familiarity with Risk and Control Self-Assessment program requirements in the Foreclosure space
  • Mortgage Servicing experience
  • Default Servicing experience
  • Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Reporting experience including the ability to gather, organize and interpret data
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
  • Results oriented with outstanding ability to motivate teams and mobilize the resources to accomplish objectives
  • Technical skills: MSP, ECAR, ICMP, SDA, Reporting and Applications Portal for Servicing (RAP)
Job Expectations:
  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
