Library Educational Technician III (K-5) - Fall 2023 Opening Falmouth Elementary School is seeking a passionate reader to support the two current library/tech integrators. This highly qualified individual will be comfortable using multiple technology platforms, reading aloud to students, flexibility, and interest in collaborating with others. Duties include but are not limited to, facilitating weekly kindergarten classes, delivering lessons, checking out books, and covering additional classes as needed. With support from the two librarians this individual will work to meet the needs of the K-5 staff, students, parents, and library volunteers.

Following an initial training, the preferred candidate will be self-directed and independent with daily tasks and responsibilities. This position requires a lot of physical movement such as carrying books and materials up and down stairs. Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools.

Additional: The pay will be based on experience and ($20.88 - $26.25) and a generous and comprehensive benefits package includes 100% district-paid single health and dental coverage, life insurance, Maine State Retirement, leave days, and professional development support.
