Licensed Professional Counselor - Full Time
Come join a rapidly growing organization. Red Oak Counseling’s treatment team is expanding to the West Bend and Port Washington areas. We are looking for a few special therapists to join our team. We are specifically looking for therapists with experience in general mental health, eating disorders, addiction and couples counseling. Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree, licensed in the state of Wisconsin to practice. The ability to manage a full time caseload and applicant must desire a team driven environment.
Our private practice consists of Mental Health, Addictions, Eating Disorders, Relationships, Military, Trauma, Codependency, Work Concerns and a prescribing Physician Assistant on staff. We have successfully been in business since 2004. We provide a friendly working environment, comfortable furnished office space, flexible schedules, efficient electronic billing and software services for clinical documentation, convenient locations, full time office staff to assist with day-to-day functions, weekly consultation, and outstanding referral relationships. All employees are a valued an integral part of our team and everyone’s input is considered and heard.
Responsibilities and Duties
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health treatment
- Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic
- Maintain good standing with the appropriate licensing board and insurance entities
- Complete all recommended continuing education requirements
- Stay current with updated research and best practices
- Be aware of community referral sources
- Secure client information per HIPAA standards
- Maintain case files within electronic health record (EHR)
- Perform other duties as assigned (including but not limited to completion of Social Security / Disability Forms, authorization and billing forms, phone calls, and participating in case consultation meetings)
Qualifications and Skills
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family.
- Skill in family planning.
- Skill in working with a variety of cultures.
- Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies.
- Ability to provide necessary self-care.
- Ability to demonstrate positive interactions with other clinic staff.
- Awareness of personal strengths and timing for referrals.
Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree or doctorate in psychology, social work or related field
- Licensure as an LCSW, LPC or MFT
- Independently licensed (credentialed with insurance companies a plus)
- Strong ability to work effective with colleagues within the organization and the community via verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits
- Pay will be equal to a commission percentage of reimbursements, or a salary option is available. Potential salary ranges from $60 - $95K per year. Medical, dental, vision, 401K benefits offered.
