Duration: May to September 2023| Part time position39 hours/week (Assignments and schedules are made based on the needs of the Parks Department)
Shift: Must be available to work varied schedules, including days, evenings (rare), weekends and holidays.
Certifications: All applicants are required to provide Lifeguard, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications valid through September 2022. All required certifications must be completed prior to the first day of employment.
Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Note: An approved work permit will be required prior to the first day of employment if under the age of eighteen (18). Applicants must possess or be in the process of obtaining an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent. Applicants must possess or be in the process of obtaining CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strong swimmer with experience working in a swim facility. Candidates who have participated in aquatic sports such as swim or water polo are strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingual abilities are also strongly desired.
