Position Overview

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate thermometers, check and maintain food and refrigerator temperatures.
• Prep according to prep checklist.
• Setup and clean grill stations before breakfast and after breakfast.
• Make emergency request list and inform manager of 86 items in food list.
• Record all temperatures on the Health Department checklist.
• Check, read and distribute tickets to all stations.
• Make all sandwiches through shift etc.
• Keep are cleaned and organized throughout the shift.
• Check all equipment, it should be in good running condition. Report to manager if something is broken or something needs to be replaced.
• Clean whole station, microwave, toaster shelves and fridges and restock. Help clean kitchen before shift ends.
• Count leftovers and give to Kitchen Manager. (AM & PM).
• Clean station according to cleaning checklist.
• Check if there is enough tostada boxes folded.
• Throw out all breads.
• Check with manager every day and throughout your shift for ANY additional duties needed for your shift. “These duties could change on any day”.

General and Safety:

• Use safety belt and safety shoes at all times.
• Use hand truck to move or lift anything over 15 lbs.
• Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• The position requires lifting of 25 lbs. anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given to you.
• Watch for wet floors and spillage, put signs and dry immediately.
• CLEAN AS YOU GO! Watch for food, debris and objects on the floor.
• Use gloves at all times. Always use safety cutting gloves when handling a knife.
• The position requires the employee to be friendly and courteous.
• Our Guests always come first!

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in cold temperatures
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing

Pay Range: (Pay ranges applicable to CA locations only)

• Hourly
• $20.00 Minimum - $21.00 Maximum
