EW Brandt & Sons in Wapato is now hiring for a Packing line Mechanic to join our team. EW Brandt & Sons is a grower, packer, & shipper of apples, pears, peaches, & nectarines.

The position we are currently seeking is for a full time, year round packing line mechanic.

Requirements

Must have a full set of basic hand tools and locking toolbox.

Minimum of 1 year of experience on line mechanic

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be motivated, self-starting, and willing to learn new things.

Must be organized and keep a clean safe work area.

Must be able to work overtime during peak season.

Must have knowledge and experience with repairs on chains, sprockets, electrical motors, gear boxes, hydraulic hose,

Fabrication and welding skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Perform Routine Preventative maintenance on all equipment

Troubleshoot and identify mechanical problems

Dismantle and rebuild equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
