Ashland Vine Senior Home Care of River Forest is looking to hire a live-in caregiver for a 2 different female clients, both clients stay in private residental homes located in River Forest. Our mission is to make it possible for seniors to age gracefully in their own homes while providing the non-medical support they may need to do so with compassion, understanding, tolerance and a kind heart. Being sensitive to the client’s needs while treating them with dignity and respect. We are hiring for come & go positions as well.

Ashland Vine offers : flexible hours, opportunity to work near home, and a variety of shifts.

Days, Nights, Weekends, Live-Ins positions available including PT & FT

Duties include:

Companionship, socialization, and conversation

Assistance with activities of daily living and personal hygiene

Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation

Keeping a daily log on the clients and reporting changes

Accompanying clients to appointments, running errands

Shop for household items as needed

Medication reminders

Qualifications:

Must be warm and compassionate, have excellent communication skills

The ability to read, write and speak English clearly

The ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, stand and left 25 lbs.

Ability to treat clients and their families with dignity and respect and maintain confidentiality

Have a clean criminal background and drug screen

Have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

CNA is a plus but we will providing all the necessary training
