Responsibilities:

Assist members with their consumer lending needs; analyze loan requests, make credit decisions based on lending policy and assist with the direction and administration of Branch Operations as directed by Branch Manager. As a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies and limits. Maximizes credit union profitability through appropriate cross-selling of credit union products and services. Aggressively promotes and sells Credit Life, Credit Disability and GAP Insurance to Credit Union Members. As part of the Horizon Credit Union team, you will efficiently assist members with teller transactions and provide excellent member service. Provide accurate, courteous, and professional service to all members or potential members when assisting them with financial transactions or inquires. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
