Grocery Haulers, Inc., a logistics company, is engaged in providing logistics solutions and dedicated truck transportation services to the retail, wholesale, and manufacturing sectors of the food industry. The company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Iselin, NJ, New Jersey.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for understanding the delivery routes and transportation procedures
• Contacts vendors, confirms order pickup details and notifies vendors of changes
• Works with dispatch to ensure all backhauls are picked up and tracked correctly
• Learns company network & backhaul processes.
• Completes transportation log each week
• Check to see if there are any outstanding purchase orders
• Reports to Supervisor on discrepancies
• Provides feedback on issues that arise with the backhaul coordination.
• Performs other relevant job duties as required

Qualifications:

• Preferably 1 Year of Transportation & Supply Chain experience
• Working hours Monday- Friday 9:00-5:00pm with flexibility when necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Able to operate in a 24/7, complex environment.
• Ability to maintain professionalism speaking with customers, vendors & drivers.
• Understanding of transportation and safety guidelines
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to change (technical, organizational, and environmental)

Must Have Permanent Work Authorization in the US
