POSITION TITLE: 7th-8th Grade French Teacher, Long Term Substitute

LOCATION: Newtown Middle school

START DATE: Anticipated April through June

SALARY RANGE: $264.30/Day

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current World Language (French) Certification .

• Ability to work with others in attaining team objectives and accomplishing

interdisciplinary objectives for students.

• Evidence of thorough understanding of unique needs of early adolescents and how

their characteristics impact on techniques and curriculum.

• Evidence of expertise in working with children in a heterogeneous classroom setting

and ability to differentiate instruction.

• Evidence of expertise in cooperative learning techniques and writing process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide world language instruction to seventh and eighth grade students.

• Perform other classroom teaching and duty assignments consistent with the

requirements of the position and board-NFT Agreement.
