**Only Hiring Experienced Mill Machinist with Plastic parts and Mazak machining experience** 1st shift (M-F; 6 AM-4PM). Some Saturday work will be required as well. We are looking for a 1st Shift Vertical CNC Mill Machinists/Operators who has experience with Mazak. This person sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, boring machines, and grinders, to machine plastic, rubber and metallic parts by performing various duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determines sequence of operations. • Equipment to be oiled and cleaned before, during and after it has been used. • Selects, positions, and secures tool in toolholder (chuck, collet, or tool-post). • Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures.

  • Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut. • Sets up fixture or feeding device, starts machine, and turns handwheel to feed tool to workpiece or vice versa, and engages feed. • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications by using PI tape and dial calipers. • Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Sign off and have supervisor or co-machinist sign off on all set up parts to verify and approve prior to running production. • Confers with supervisor to resolve machining problems. • Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience • High School Diploma Required.

Must score 12.9+ on Math Assessment. Must be willing to work our 1st shift (M-F; 6 AM-4PM). Some weekend work will be required as well. • Must have the ability to read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operational instructions).

  • 2+ years’ experience required as a CNC Mill Machinist/Operator in a manufacturing environment. W Work Environment and Demands • Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time. • May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
