MACHINIST

Precision Contacts, Inc. – El Dorado Hills, CA

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (Under Supervision of Shop Manager)

• Injection Molds and Tooling.

• Program CNC mill using GibbsCAM

• Operate CNC and conventional milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, wire EDM, etc...

• Plan and layout operations to construct, alter and repair a wide variety of complicated tools, fixtures and dies.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION

• Metal \ Plastic Work

• Injection Molds

• Tool Repair

• 5 years CNC experience

• GibbsCAM programming software experience preferable

• Ability to make G and M code edits on the CNC machine

• Wire EDM Machine experience a plus

REQUIREMENTS

· Must work well in a team environment as well as independently

· Able to stand for 10 hours a shift

· Ability to lift 50 lbs., and load/unload items

· Have good vision and pay close attention to detail

· Full understanding of tight tolerances and measurement of machined parts

· Must be able to follow all safety rules

· Able to follow detailed instructions

· Able to be organized and detail oriented

· Able to effectively communicate

WORK HOURS

Monday - Thursday (4 -10 Hour Days)

6:00 am to 4:30 pm
