As a Machinist/Machine Operator for Rolls-Royce, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to operate a variety of equipment, turning, grinding, milling, and use a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspect in process or finished parts and feature characteristics as well as manufacturing methods to blueprint specifications.

Key Accountabilities:
- Perform all duties to the highest quality standards and within the allotted time or budget while adhering to prescribed safety rules and regulations
- Setting machine origins, loading automated cells and running production in accordance with the written set-up instructions
- Working to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish and parallelism
- Setting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobs
- Must be able to lift, carry and visually inspect parts with ability to do basic math.
- Will be responsible for operating multiple types of machines or processes
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED (General Education Diploma) and minimum of 1 years of machining, manufacturing, production, assembly or aviation experience
- Completion of an associates degree or a qualified certification program in a manufacturing, machining or related field could be used in lieu of 1 year of experience.
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen and you must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive motions, bend and standing for long periods of time.

- CNC experience
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing practices

Pay rate - $27.58/hour with shift premium available for afternoon and midnight shifts
