Position Summary

This position is responsible to effectively and efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and performing preventive maintenance following Menasha Packaging standards for quality and safety.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Directly leads the work activities of his/her department
• Exercises all elements of supervision, including the maintenance of employee relations the scheduling/assignments of workloads, maintain discipline and training/instructing employees on work assignments
• Ensure that safety methods and procedures are followed with the department to assure compliance with Menasha and Governmental policies
• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
• Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines
• Follow GMP’s good manufacturing practices as identified in the corporate quality documents
• Promote a safe work environment Inside and outside building maintenance
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Manager.

Education Desired

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience Required

Minimum of 5 years of machine maintenance experience and supervision skills

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealers, stretch wrappers
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required
• PLC and Drive controllers knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening
• Attributes desired include being self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and carry items weighing 50+ lbs. regularly

• TexWrap maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Variable Speed Drives: 1 year (Required)
• 12V or 120V electrical: 1 year (Required)
