Position Available: Maintenance Mechanic (M2)

Shift Available: 2nd

Salary: $31.06hr+Shift Differential

General Summary:

To supplement the activities of the Maintenance mechanics. To perform periodic greasing, oil and filter changes, and light mechanical work per PM schedule and as directed.

B. DUTIES

The duties of this position are those described below. This job instruction does not state or imply that the duties listed are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.

1. Essential Duties and Requirements.

• These duties and requirements directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position.
• Lubricates and inspect the equipment on all production lines (Press, Rademaker, Corn-Retail and Food Service, and Fried Chips.
• Lubricates and inspect corn and flour bulk systems once per week.
• Perform routine Preventative Maintenance on items 1 through 3. Inspect chains, sprockets, pulley, belts, bearings, and gears. Lube bearings, oil chains, check and add oil to gearboxes. Change oil in gearboxes on schedule. Replace air filters.
• Perform mechanical tasks and complete work orders as directed by Maintenance supervision.
• Follow (LO/TO) all Safety procedures and Company Safety Policy.
• Installs, operates, maintains, checks and trouble shoots basic electrical equipment as directed.
• Maintains and troubleshoots basic electrical equipment as directed.

C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

Communication Skills

Good Math Skills

Technical experience in processing or packaging of flour products.

College degree (desired)
