Aston Carter is hiring for a Maintenance Planner in Terre Haute, Indiana

Description:

• Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties to self and others are performed in a safe manner.
• Maintains SAP Maintenance system and acts as SAP Key User for the Maintenance Module in the company.
• Supports obsolete part retrofit investigation directly with machine and parts suppliers, lead technicians, and Engineers.
• Increases productivity and availability of company equipment through defined processes.
• Works with Maintenance Lead Technicians to identify recurring issues in production and support by modifying SAP work orders as necessary.
• Supports Lead Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Manager, and Storeroom Clerk with all matters regarding spare parts investigations and PMs.
• Schedules additional maintenance activities to be completed during Plant Shutdowns and Weekends.
• Supports Spare Parts Clerk with critical parts lists for new and existing equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of SAP
• Experience working with maintenance teams or contractors
• Experience planning projects/work to be done on equipment
