Corporate Maintenance Specialist- North Carolina/Virginia Area
Description:
The Corporate Maintenance Specialist is responsible for: Assisting in the development of company policies and procedures, Assisting with special projects and administrative tasks, Training and development of on-site maintenance personnel and other duties which may not specifically be listed below.
The Corporate Maintenance Specialist is tasked with attending new construction punches and representing Management’s long-term interest. This position collaborates with construction personnel to ensure a timely resolution of any issues as well as final delivery of the buildings. The Corporate Maintenance Specialist will assist in the review of each Construction Warranty Binder and follow up on any missing items.
The Corporate Maintenance Specialist will also assist with 3rd party inspections, on-site bid comparisons, preventative maintenance scheduling, emergency situations and any other special projects that may arise. This position will complete Corporate Site Visit Reports following any site visit and ensure the implementation and compliance of internal Maintenance SOP’s. The Corporate Maintenance Specialist reports to the Director of Maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience in supervision of Multi-family site maintenance.
  • Must be willing to work evenings or weekends, as required
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to read architectural plans.
  • Must be able to process internal paperwork.
  • Travel is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn new applications as required.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, team building skills, and ability to influence others
