Job Summary:

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Systems Administrator for the Li-Cycle Hub in Rochester, NY. The Maintenance Systems Administrator facilitates the smooth operation of the maintenance processes with a focus on communication and data manipulation in the CMMS. They will ensure all processes are followed and help other team members when questions arise. This position will also manage a great variety of other tasks as assigned to allow technicians, planners, and other staff to remain focused on their responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clear, consistent, and updated lines of communication throughout the Maintenance department, customer departments, and with outside parties such as vendors and contractors.
  • Become a CMMS champion and the on-site administrator for the Hub CMMS
  • Maintain and keep updated the Asset Database
  • Maintain the People Database in the CMMS
  • Management of maintenance scheduling functions within the CMMS
  • Work Order generation
  • Preparing KPI reporting
  • Create Purchase Requisitions Maintenance and Operations teams as requested
  • Managing office inventory and shared calendar for the Maintenance department
  • Managing and updating the Maintenance Master Calendar (Microsoft Project®) Gantt chart, which holds long-term scheduling of Overhauls, Inspections & Large Projects
  • Organize and manage Maintenance personnel training
  • Involved in contract management as required
  • Assist new Maintenance employees with onboarding and supply of necessary PPE
  • Manage coordination of employee schedules including time-off coverages, vacations, and attendance records
  • Potentially support and fill in for absent Maintenance Planners and Schedulers
  • Request and provide temporary Security badging and escort for Visitors or Vendors as needed
  • Understand and always complete your duties with a Safety Mindset.
Job Qualifications:

Education and experience:
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Highly computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project®, Visio®, Google® Office or comparable, Adobe Acrobat® and/or others
  • 2+ year – CMMS/ERP Software experience (SAP®, MAXIMO®, ORACLE®)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large team in a service, construction or maintenance coordination environment
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, schematics, asset BOM, Technical bulletins and blueprints
  • Excellent and Clear Communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Organized, attentive to detail & functions with a high degree of accuracy
Working Conditions:
  • Wear required PPE: nitrile gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hard hat or bump cap, coveralls, respirator and face shield as needed
  • May encounter Nickel and or Nickel containing products. (Nickle allergies are very common)
  • Physical ability to lift 30 lb+.
  • Significant amount of walking and climbing of stairs and ladders.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
  • Exposure to shopfloor and loading hazards
  • May be exposed to construction site.
