AMFM Healthcare is looking for a Maintenance Technician for the maintenance and oversight of our various facilities in the southern Orange County area. This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the residences and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. This position also supports a variety of types of compliance and regulations necessary for the care of our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Be a multitalented handyman capable of contributing to projects for upkeep of the properties. Staff are expected to contribute to minor to moderate jobs involving apprentice level knowledge of basics in:
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • HVAC
  • Drywall/Basic Construction
  • Appliance Repair
  • Preventative Maintenance
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
• Work under the Director of Safety to maintain all facilities to Joint Commission standards, and perform all duties specifically associated with the elements of performance listed in the Environment of Care and Life Safety sections.
• Ensure that all regulations of the Orange County Fire Authority and National Fire Prevention Association are in compliance.
• Perform regular tours of company facilities and properties, and manage all repair work therein.
• Document all work being done at company properties.
• Proactively assess and perform preventative maintenance on all properties and continuously evaluate areas for improvement. Once assessed, effectively remedy these identified deficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Education and/or experience in a wide array of facility repair needs, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, general repair, flooring, and basic construction skills.
• A valid US driver's license that is eligible to be enrolled in the organization's insurance plan.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
