Job description

A successful candidate will be a strong Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for assisting with the direct management oversight of assigned residential properties. The Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Property Manager The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Assist property manager in managing all repair aspects of a 200-unit property
• Complete submitted work orders
• Assist in managing maintenance staff and contractors
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with residents and staff
• Assist in completion of contracted assignments with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
• Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
• Coordinate maintenance purchases with property manager

Skills

• Proven work experience and leadership skills as a maintenance supervisor
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
• In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property maintenance
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
• Customer focus and "bottom-line" understanding
• Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
• Well organized with excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

• EPA Certification (Preferred)
• CPO Certification (Preferred)
