Are you up for a challenge of managing the day-to-day operations for a busy, team-oriented light assembly, packaging, sorting, and fulfillment operation? Hanover Adams Rehabilitation and Training (HART) Center has been empowering individuals with disabilities for more than 50 yrs. Headquartered in New Oxford, PA, the company provides a variety of light assembly, packaging, sorting, and fulfillment needs to its customers. HART creates meaningful work experiences while offering vocational rehabilitation services for nearly 100 men and women with Intellectual/Developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses.
With primary duties to include overseeing the fulfillment of customer orders, you will be in regular communication with the Team and Customers on items such as: Schedule, Safety, Inventory, and Quality Control. You will ensure operational and manufacturing policies and procedures are followed. Additional functions of the job will be to identify and implement all continuous improvement opportunities as well as ensuring occupational safety guidelines and compliance activities.
A min. of 3-5 yrs of successful related experience in Human Services or Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations is necessary. The ideal candidate will have prior Supervisory or Leadership experience. You will have working knowledge of current manufacturing or warehouse operations including Inventory/Material Management, Continuous Improvement strategies, and ensuring Quality Standards. An associate degree or higher in Business or Engineering will be helpful but not necessary. Basic PC skills are needed as you grow with us and become a talented individual in an extraordinary opportunity. Strong Communication skills are critical to success in our team-based environment.
