Summary:
The Analytics Manager will be responsible for delivering key data transformation programs of medium to large sizes using strong program management skills. This role will work together with (or as the liaison towards) functional teams, technology, and business teams. Managing vendor teams and ensuring they are delivering scope on-time, in time and under budget is critical as well.
Role also includes tracking delivery, financials, and benefits; overcoming blockers & dependencies; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This role will have at least one direct report. This position has global scope, but eastern time zone is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully deliver technology change through a scaled Agile framework (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) approach
- Develop, maintain, track and report upon overall plan across multiple delivery teams, including the management or risks and issues.
- Ensure alignment with delivery managers to achieve agreement on technical approach and design
- Ensure effective project communication across all levels of the organization
- Manage dependencies across delivery teams and other change initiatives
- Manage project budget, track spend and forecast against project budget
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration and manage and mitigate risks and issues
- Foster excellent working relationships within the overall data team and with our internal and external business partners
- Take accountability for stakeholder expectations, create, and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and dependent projects or initiatives
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of data program/ portfolio management experience (business or IT) with exposure to integrated application delivery
- Successful track record of managing complex IT/change projects
- A solid understanding of project management methodologies and development toolsets
- Experience of working within a fast-moving, changeable environment with new and legacy technology/products and working practices
- Familiar with change management in the implementation of data & information management strategies, BI, advanced analytics and AI;
- Familiar with market trends and technologies related to data management, analytics and visualization;
- Can demonstrate various experiences of similar transformation projects or programs;
- Well organized, pro-active and solution oriented in nature with a “getting things done” mindset
