Reporting to the Department Chairperson of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and under the general direction of the Residency Program Director, the Manager Medical Education is responsible for managing the administrative and day to day operations of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program. Responsible to promote efficient and effective services of the Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health (AH) Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program. Key member of the leadership team, possessing skills in leadership and personnel management. Expected to develop in-depth knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures. Assist the program director in meeting accreditation requirements, educational programming, and support of residents. Works collaboratively with Coordinator for Graduate Medical Education. Serves as liaison and facilitator between the learners, faculty and other staff members, and the ACGME.

5+ years of administrative experience required, preferably with a residency program or medical school. Program Coordination experience preferred. An additional 4+ years of related work experience required if no degree.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an additional 4+ years of related work experience required if no degree.
