Collins Aerospace is looking for a Supply Chain Manager for Mission Systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepares purchase orders and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance
• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries
• Responds to inquiries on order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develops and maintains good vendor relationships
• Normally performs routine work without requiring detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
• Proactively works with the supplier to monitor all parts to support on-time deliveries to our customers
• Drive actions to mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root cause analysis and development of recovery plans to bring shipments back in-line with customer requirements
• Attend & report out for Supply Chain at site level meetings and serve as escalation point
• Responsible for generating various Supply Chain reports on weekly basis

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP
• Continuous Improvement (ACE) problem solving background
• Working knowledge of data analysis with the ability to develop actionable insights from the data.
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines.
